Colour analysis is a process that helps people find colours that complement them.  I am taking bookings for personal colour consultations from JUNE 2024. I work in Devon, Ivybridge, easily accessible for anyone in South Hams and Plymouth.

Personal Colour Analysis

Having colour analysis done means, you will not waste money on clothes you won’t wear. You will feel great wearing colours that bring best out of you. At the moment I offer in person colour analysis only. It takes up to 2 hours in my studio. The consultation involves draping to find if your skin leans warm or cool followed by determining best and worse colours for you.

You will get Pdf with all the information gathered during our session.

Consultation £95

Colour Fan £30

Digital Colour Fan £15

What to expect

A personal colour analysis will determine your seasonal colour palette.

I will first check if your skin has warm or cool undertone.

Melanin, carotenoids, and hemoglobin are components that determine our natural skin undertone. Our undertone is genetic and remains constant throughout life. However, as we age, our skin may become thinner and translucent, so highly saturated colors can appear overwhelming. Getting a tan or using self-tanner does not actually change undertone or color palette, though it can allow you to wear slightly bolder colors.

After analyzing your undertone, I can determine whether pure, bright colors or soft, muted shades are most flattering. This helps me select the most harmonious color palette for you.

I’m often asked if hair color impacts your best colors. To some degree, yes, since your undertone and natural hair color are linked genetically. If you dye your hair, your underlying palette remains the same, though some colors may be more or less flattering. Similarly, going grey may cause some subtle shifts within your palette.

Then we’ll explore mixing and matching colors within your palette. Combining colors in new ways can feel daunting initially. But with practice, it gets easier and more intuitive!

At the end of the session, you can purchase a handy colour swatch fan for shopping reference (print or digital version ).
